The Yamcharger was first invented and built by the G-Force Division to raise the horsepower and performance of your Yamaha Apex snowmobile.  The system produces a maximum of 2 lbs of boost with an increase of 20 horsepower gain at the crank with a very linear power curve.  The impeller is driven directly from the engine crank.  The air is sucked into the center of the impeller and then forced around and up the new plenum box into the engine.  The result is that the engine is lightly boosted producing more horsepower for a very reasonable cost.  Weighing only 5 lbs it is a very light modification which does not add much weight to your snowmobile.  It takes approximately 6 hours to install and does not change the physical appearance of your snowmobile.  The Yamcharger does not produce any extra noise from your exhaust and the fuel injection system will automatically self adjust to the low boost system and supply the engine with the necessary fuel for the extra horsepower!
